Class Description
This four week course is designed to increase your understanding of the technical application of working on camera. Week one. Camera Shots. Mid shot. Close up. Over the shoulder. Low angle. We will cover the use of these shots and why and understanding of their design is important to an actor. Week two. Blocking for camera. The three camera set up. We will work paired in scenes establishing how we maximize our time in front of the lense. Week three. Camera technique for self tapes. This week we get creative in not only our use of the frame for our self taping. We navigate the dreaded slate. How to nail that final moment on screen. Week Four. Non verbals on camera. Finding emotional truth through the lense when it counts. In the close up. Become the actor directors enjoy working with as you increase your technical proficiency.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy: Our acting coaches are working actors, therefore some classes may need to be rescheduled or substituted with other coaches. Students will receive notice of any changes ahead of time. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are accepted up to 72 hours before a course begins and will receive a credit of the fees paid (minus the $100 deposit) to be used towards future classes within 6 months. Cancellations for Showreel Weekend Intensives will need to be made 5 business days before the rehearsal date to qualify for a credit, any cancellations within 5 days forfeit the fees paid. Makeup Classes: We do not offer makeup classes for missed classes Payment Plans: We have partnered with EziDebit to offer Direct Debit Payment Plans to our students. Payment plans are available on all our courses with weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments and incure a small transaction fee per instalment- $1.19 per transaction debited from a Bank Account or 2.19% per transaction debited from a VISA/MASTERCARD
