The Actors Journey - Eric Morris Method

Class Description

This 4 week course will help the Actor to develop a deeper understanding of the impressive and expressive parts of your instrument that will guide you deeper into increasing your availability, spontaneity and risibility. By becoming familiar with how you actually feel and what causes these shifts you will be encouraged to push your range and diminish your blocks and limitations. The first two sessions will be addressing the Actor's instrument. This work will be geared toward eradicating the Actor's blocks, fears, negative concepts, and ego-based strongholds. The final two sessions will focus strictly on the craft of acting integrating what the Actor has learnt during the first two lessons into exploring dramatic written text. You will work on a combination of monologues and scenes working purely from a place of free emotional truth. This work is designed and proven to free the actor from self imposed hurdles that we all face as we move forward on our artistic journey and will enable the Actor to experience your work from a far deeper level.
