Class Description

This six-week course will have your teen being guided by the incredible Ashlee Lollback. With over 12 years of professional on-screen experience, Ash brings her incredible talent industry understanding and vibrance to the Actors Club. With credits like Harrow for ABC. Never tear us apart the Inxs Story on prime video. In like Flynn on Amazon and most recently the amazing feature film Bloody Hell on Netflix. Ash is also just completed filming a lead role on the Australian feature (Nutfarm) Her understanding of on-screen performance is second to none and her gift of assisting students in realizing their true potential comes from a place of true love for the creative arts. From the very first week, your child will learn camera technique and exercises to build confidence and camera presence. Course delivery. Week 1. Working on imagination and physicality to create believable performance for television commercial casting. Improv and finding the right delivery for TVCs. Week 2. Tackling the US TV scripts. Your child will work in accent on a fast paced US script. On screen in class filming this week. Week 3. On screen character development. The intellectual elements of character. Discover character work through movement/ play and hot seat questioning. Week 4. Australian kids TV scripts. On screen in class filming this week. Hitting the pace and rhythm of classic Aussie TV kids series. Tackling two hander and multiple cast member scenes. Week 5. Movement and character discovery. Unearthing your character and what motivates them. You will be working on US feature film scripts. Week 6. You will be given professional direction and guidance for your final scene. In class paired filming from last weeks script. Time to test your accent in character.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy: Our acting coaches are working actors, therefore some classes may need to be rescheduled or substituted with other coaches. Students will receive notice of any changes ahead of time. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours before a course begins and will receive a credit of the fees paid (minus the $100 deposit) to be used towards future classes within 6 months. Makeup Classes: We do not offer Makeup classes or Credit for missed classes. Payment Plans: We have partnered with EziDebit to offer Direct Debit Payment Plans to our students. Payment plans are available on all our courses with weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments and incure a small transaction fee per instalment- $1.19 per transaction debited from a Bank Account or 2.19% per transaction debited from a VISA/MASTERCARD Direct Debit request forms will be emailed within 48 hours of booking.
